Legacy theme template

Smart Launcher integrates a theme engine which is currently being replaced by other systems. However if you want to build an "old" theme, here you will find the instructions you need.

Smart Launcher supports all the most common icon pack formats. If you are an icon pack developer, you don't need to do anything special to make your icon packs compatible with Smart Launcher.

If instead, you want to include in your theme instructions to customize the Smart Launcher search bar and category bar, then please visit the link below for instructions.
Please note: Recent SL versions can automatically adapt their colors to the user wallpaper and this made the theme support less interesting, so we don't plan to work on it in the near future. That being said, the instructions in the tutorial below are still valid today.
