How to set up Smart Launcher in 5 minutes

Use this quick flow if you want to start clean and get productive immediately.

1. Set Smart Launcher as default launcher.

2. Place your most-used apps on the home screen.

3. Add one useful widget (for example calendar, weather, or tasks).

4. Enable notification badges from Preferences -> Home page -> Notifications.

5. Try Smart Search for launching apps instead of scrolling through the full app list.

6. Keep the first layout simple for a few days, then refine it.

7. When you are satisfied with the setup, create a backup so you can restore it later.

Recommended first layout: 4-8 icons on the home screen plus 1 widget.
