# Google / Pixels ## The Launcher UI freezes and becomes unresponsive multiple times a day We are aware of an issue affecting several devices running Android 14 or 15, where the Launcher UI may freeze and become unresponsive. This problem is due to a bug in the operating system itself, and unfortunately, it affects all third-party launchers, not just ours. As this issue is beyond our control, we are currently unable to provide a direct fix. We have reported this issue to Google through their Issue Tracker, and we are awaiting a resolution from them. You can view and star the issue here:\ ## Smart Launcher is not working well with gestures (Android 8 and 9) Starting from Android P, Google introduced a gesture system as alternative to the navigation bar.
